I've finished my Aquatic Warbler on the top of Great Fen sedge for commission. During the summer I visited Roskosz Nature Reserve and I made sketches and some photos of Aquatic Warbler for this illustration. It's acrylics on paper, 24 x 30 cm
Wait just a minute... This IS NOT A PHOTOGRAPH?!!! I have seen some photorealism in my time, but I don't know when I have seen works so indistinguishable from photos. I find the pencil and ink illustrations particularly inspiring; didn't know such results were possible.
